Nutrients In Human Body

Nutrient composition of man compares a normal weight to a partially starved weight. Therefore anorexic people have to take note as they usually star with partial starvation. Partial starvation is related to reducing diets and to fad diets which meddle severally with your health. It can be seen that along with a happy reduction in fat, there is an unwanted reduction in protein. The reduction in water can lead to dehydration and complications thereof. Normally carbohydrate is used as energy and excess is converted to fat.

Hence the body reserve of carbohydrate is low and the reduction seems negligible. However, when the reserve is only 500g, a reduction of 200g is definitely not negligible. It is a 40 per cent decrease and the mineral content is mainly in bones. Hence skeletal changes will be negligible in partial starvation. However severe starvation can weaken the bones too. So people have to maintain their body composition and should be taking care of what they eat.
